A warm welcome to

ST Joseph's RC High School

St Joseph’s RC High School is a place where the individual matters. We are hugely proud of all our young people who flourish not only academically, but also as confident young people who are ready to make a positive contribution to society.

‘Serving God Through Learning Together’ is not only a summary of our mission statement, but also a way of life at St Joseph’s, as we work together to ensure students succeed whatever their starting point, interests or talents. Our mission and vision for the young people we teach is firmly rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and underpinned by Gospel values, enabling them to gain a real sense of what it means to belong to a Community of Faith where all are challenged to develop their full potential.

St Joseph’s RC High School has the very highest expectations of all its students and staff. We are committed to ensuring that each individual child experiences the best education possible and achieves their full potential. Our commitment to securing excellence is built upon high quality teaching and a strong emphasis on pastoral care and support. We know that young people today face many challenges, not least of which is their emotional and mental wellbeing. We are strongly committed to providing the best academic and wellbeing support individually tailored for each young person. At St Joseph’s, we ensure that our young people are well-prepared to take their place in the world with purpose, enthusiasm and strength of character.

We recognise that a young person’s happiness and wellbeing are the foundations to success and therefore we will ensure that their school days are the best of their lives. At St Joseph’s, we believe that a great education has the power to transform lives, and this precious gift is one you can be confident that our hard-working and talented staff will strive to give to every child, every day and in every lesson.

I trust you find our website useful and you get a feel for our ethos and vision.
