Dear Parent/Carer,

Please be aware that NAT have confirmed changes to the 643 service effective from February half term 2017 and have given formal notice (56 days) to the Traffic Commissioner. This change has been made to address issues raised by parents regarding pick-up times. The 644 bus that currently commences service from Malpas will be rerouted to collect Western Avenue and Melbourne Way pupils and start the 643 at Ridgeway. This will involve moving some 643 pupils to the 644 bus, but it will give them more running time so they will arrive in school earlier.

The following changes coming into effect directly after the Christmas holidays on the following services;

·         641 - now operating via George Street and Cardiff Road

·         645 – now operating via SDR, Docks Way, Mendafgeif Road and Cardiff Road to collect the 617 pupils.

These changes have been made due to a reduction in the number of pupils travelling on the N1 / 645 services which result in the 617 overflow bus no longer being required.

Full details of the changes can be found on NAT’S Website www.natgroup.co.uk and social media.
